Coaching & Consulting

Why choose when you can have both?

THE WHY

It's not a shame having a problem - it's a shame not looking for a solution

At SwitchUP Partners, we do believe you no longer have to choose between Coaching and Consulting. We can bring you both. So rather than a long nicely-worded text to explain why it is we are good at what we do, let’s cut to the chase and focus on our 10 key commitments:

  1. We create value, together

  2. We imagine, we innovate, we transform. We make a difference

  3. Our culture is based on delivering results, not just powerpoint presentations

  4. We work on the field, we like to get our hands dirty

  5. A collective enterprise – anyone who has a stake in the task gets involved, from the CEO to the front-line employee

  6. We reveal the facts behind the figures – it’s not only about a spreadsheet

  7. We always strive to simplify

  8. We bring out the best in people and ideas

  9. Change Management – From vision to reflection to execution, we are with you every step of the way

  10. At the end of the day, individuals will make or break a project. Our approach is above all human

Everybody needs a coach.

THE WHO

I went through all of it, studied it, and now I can share the solutions with you

Steve de Bonvoisin - Coaching and Consulting
Steve de Bonvoisin - Managing Partner | Strategy Consultant

If there is one constant in life, it is change. I thrive on new challenges, speed and complexity. I have lived in 10 countries and worked in approximately 70. Travel is a form of continuous education, and I see my career as a permanent journey. After graduating from LSE and receiving an MBA from Stanford, I forged communications and development strategies for media companies, publishing firms and audiovisual and musical production. I honed my business and marketing skills by working in the banking and investment world and also helped coaching and employee development firms to expand considerably.

I am just as interested in helping large corporate chains grow as I am in supporting entrepreneurs to implement their ideas and business plans. I myself have worked as both an employee and an independent consultant. Through my work with the Wall Street Journal, Goldman Sachs, Bertelsmann or Tony Robbins, to name but a few, I have developed strong personal relationships in a wide range of environments.

THE YOU

Size doesn't matter - it's all about commitment and motivation

Here are some case studies of current or recent previous clients.
Which case is the one you are in? None? Then challenge us!

Case Study #1

COVID-19 has literally forced companies and sometimes resisting managers to have their colleagues or employees work from home. With this comes a whole new host of challenges, from “supervising” employees at a distance to make sure they get the job done, to being the go-between between executives higher up and employees who for the most part are not accustomed to a new now-daily work from home routine, to even accounting for employees mental health state as they juggle work and life balance inside their own home.

Are you facing this situation with all the challenges that come with it?
This is the case with one of our clients in the medical industry, and we are accompanying him through the implementation not only on a work-from-home protocol, setting work expectations and also accounting for that lost sense of being part of a team.

Case Study #2

You are extremely successful in your current position, you have done and seen it all, however you have a great idea but it seems you just don’t know how to go about it and create a solid base to start a successful business?

One of our clients in the office supply industry is dealing with this precise question right now. What might seem daunting at first just because it is out of your comfort zone is not necessarily an obstacle. It’s also about change – remember the only constant in life – and having to adapt to a new situation where you do not have the sense of security that comes from a cushy executive job. It’s about putting in place a clear go-to-market strategy and making sure this client knows he has a Swiss Knife that can accompany him every step of the way.

Case Study #3

People are all different, sometimes in diametrically different ways, and so are your employees. The same situation can be seen from different angles and sometimes it is not easy to bring them all under the same umbrella. Are you in that?

One of our clients in the medical industry has a very eclectic and diverse team of both salaried and independent employees. Some have been there for decades (even before the current CEO) and have a “seen it all” mentality, whilst others can count their tenue in months however are eager to try things out. On top of that, there was zero middle management, let alone a clear organisational chart. It all starts with listening and hearing everyone out, whilst putting into place a set of processes and procedures that everyone can assemble around.

Case Study #4

The current pandemic has its winners and its losers. Unfortunately, many more businesses big and small are in the second category. That does not mean there are not opportunities out there, if you look out and beyond your comfort zone

A client in the luxury furnishing business has been battered by Covid-19, however together we used this opportunity of an overall slowdown to undertake a comprehensive review of their operations and their sales approach. By identifying salespeople key skills and underdeveloped markets, the client now finds itself with a steady stream of potential orders and a new previously unexplored export market.
